Regenerating menus
If you are using Emacs to edit Texinfo files, you can use
<C-c C-u C-a> in order to regenerate @menu
portions automatically. Otherwise, run
scripts/auxiliar/node-menuify.sh FILENAME
The node-menuify.sh
script just drives Emacs behind
the scenes, so it requires Emacs to be installed.

Updating doc with convert-ly
Don’t. This should be done by programmers when they add new
features. If you notice that it hasn’t been done, complain to
lilypond-devel
.
